Reza (Ray) Sahba — Registered U.S. Patent Agent

Reza (Ray) Sahba is a Registered U.S. Patent Agent, Reg. No. 74,114, with more than a decade of patent preparation and prosecution experience before the USPTO. He has worked with Michigan-based patent law firms on applications across electrical, mechanical, software, semiconductor, AI, medical device, quantum, and satellite-related technologies.

Before entering the patent field, Reza worked in engineering and technology roles involving embedded software, control algorithms, automotive electronics, and camera-based advanced driver-assistance systems — including work with Bosch, Magna, and Continental.

Reza studied Computer Science and Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Stuttgart. He is a fluent German speaker with years of experience in German technical and engineering environments.

His combined engineering background and USPTO prosecution experience allow him to work directly with inventors, technical teams, and foreign associates — understanding the technology and translating it into effective U.S. patent prosecution work.
